- What is Baytril Otic used for?
Baytril Otic is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of the of the ear caused by susceptible bacterial and fungal organisms.
- How Baytril Otic should be used?
The usual dose of Baytril Otic is 5 to 10 drops in the dogs ear if under 35 lbs and 10-15 drops in the dogs ear if over 35 lbs every 12 hours for up to 14 days
- What are the side effects?
Side effects of Baytril Otic may include localized allergic reaction.
- What special precautions are there?
Do not use this medication in animals that are allergic to it. Use with caution in animals with CNS disorders. Use with caution in dogs used for breeding purposes, during pregnancy or in lactating bitches. Use caution when using the ear drops in animals with ruptured ear drums. Always tell your veterinarian and pharmacist what other medications your pet is taking. Shake well before use. Avoid contact with the eyes. Not for use in humans.

- How should I store Baytril Otic?
Keep this medicine in the container it came in, tightly closed. Store medication at room temperature, away from excess heat, light and moisture. Do not store in the bathroom. Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed. Keep medication away from children and pets.
