DOB: April 5th 2015|| BREED/COLORING: Labrador/Husky mix; Tan & White || SIZE: Murphy is about 40lbs and is full grown.  || HISTORY: Murphy was on the street when a photo was posted on facebook and he would not get off the streets without action. Rose to the Rescue immediately jumped in and made arrangements for him to get to the vet that same day and began to network to find a rescue organization to commit to his rehabilitation and rehoming. He was completely emaciated and covered in Gentian Violet… someone had thought that the GV would help his open sores… but he needed far more than just that to survive.|| PERSONALITY: Murphy has had a lot of abuse in his young life so he is fearful at first. The minute he feels comfortable he is a waggy, talkative boy who just wants to play and act like a puppy. || TRAINING: Murphy has had no previous training and would need some work. || WOULD DO BEST: Murphy would do best in a home with people who understand his fearfulness at first and do not mind bringing him out of his shell further. || CATS/DOGS/KIDS:  Murphy seems to be comfortable with smaller dogs as long as he is introduced properly. He is not recommended for homes with cats, small animals or children.  || VET RECORD: All of our dogs are currently vaccinated, spayed/neutered and microchipped prior to adoption.  || AVAILABILITY: This dog is available for adoption now and is being fostered or kenneled in the San Fernando Valley area.
