Domestic Short Hair (short coat) Cat

Pepper the Cat needs a home

Our website is updated daily

Pepper is spayed, UTD on vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Approx. DOB is 4/13/2013.

Pepper was wandering the streets of Port Richmond when she crossed paths with a good samaritan. It was subzero weather and she had the good sense to follow the woman as she walked to her car. Pepper was scooped up and taken directly to PAWS. It was great news to find out Pepper had a registered microchip! The owner was called and he initially tried to deny he had a cat! He finally admitted that Pepper was his, but he had moved and left her behind. He said he didn't want her any more! How can people be so cruel??

Pepper is such a sweet girl! Laid back and easygoing, she's a pleasure in her foster home. Pepper isn't interested in her foster siblings so we think she would be happy in a home of her own. After being in two shelters and abandoned by her "owner", we've promised her a forever home! Pepper enjoys her catnip toys and sitting at the sliding glass door watching the world go by while she waits for her new family to find her and give her the loving home that she deserves.
