POLAR BEAR HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING. This is one great dog! Polar Bear is a 5 year-old All-American mutt whose breed mix is anyone’s guess. There might be some Lab in her family tree as well as some Great Pyr based on her beautiful big brown eyes but she’s only about 43 pounds. Polar Bear is a very sweet, mellow, and loving dog. Everyone who has met her has been very impressed with her calm and gentle demeanor. She gets along well with other dogs but hasn’t really engaged her fellow foster dogs in play. She would probably be fine in a home as the only dog as she seems to really enjoy human companionship. Polar Bear keeps her crate spotless and is likely to be housetrained although we can’t guarantee it. She walks nicely on a leash and is going to be a great companion for someone who wants a dog who’s past the puppy crazies. Polar Bear is the type of dog who will likely walk into her new house and make herself right at home on the couch. Her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. Since coming to Canine Lifeline, Polar Bear has had a dental cleaning as well as a broken molar removed so now flashes a pearly white smile. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email [email protected] if you’re interested in Polar Bear. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there. Please visit our website at www.caninelifeline.org to see more photos of Polar Bear and to submit an online application.
