Pit Bull Terrier / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Elvis the Dog needs a home

Elvis was found as a stray after Hurricane Harvey. He spent some time at the Montgomery County Fairground Pop-Up Shelter and it was clear to volunteers he had not had much interaction with humans. During his time at the fairgrounds, he refused to come out of his crate and he was terrified of human affection. He was taken into foster care and Elvis has come out of his shell. Elvis is playful, enjoys head scratches, treats, walks well on a leash and he is crate trained. He is a quiet guys and his happy place is a car ride. He is housebroken and he got his name for his enthusiasm for The King of Rock and Roll. He is still skittish but has gained confidence and no longer fears humans since he has been in foster care. He lives with an old Catahoula and 3 other pitbull dogs.

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip and rabies and other core vaccinations.
