ALBERTA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Alberta    Best Guess for Breed: Shepherd Mix

Best Guess for Age: 7 weeks as of 2/7/18    SEX: Female

Approximate Weight: 8lbs

Has Lived With: other dogs

Currently Living at: DC area foster home

Special adoption considerations: Young puppy. Due to this puppy's tender age it can not be left for more than 2-3 hours at a time. Adopters who are away from the home for the standard 8+ hour work day must provide PROOF of a MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY dog walking commitment PRIOR to adoption.

A is for Awe-inspiring! A is for Alberta, and that's me! Howdy folks! I'm just a wiggle butt little girl lookin' for my forever home. Do you have room in your house and home for a sweet girl like me.

I can't wait to take long walks and wiggle all about town. How about some trips to the doggie park? Ohhhh just thinking about it gets my puppy booty all wiggly waggly.

Don't forget I'll need to go to doggie school! I want to be a well mannered young pup!

So whattya say...ready to get your wiggle on and join Team Awwwwwwe? Well get to filling out that application already...I'M WAITING!

Alberta is not old enough to have had all puppy vaccines.  It will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.

Due to this puppy's young age, they have not yet been spayed or neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than 16 JUNE 2018.

Like most puppies, Alberta will need to work on housetraining. This puppy will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog!

The adoption fee for this dog is $400, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Tanya at tanyab@luckydoganimalrescue.org
