Hi … my name is Mango Grace and here are some things you need to know about me:

Approximate age/birthdate:  born ~ April 2015

Weight/size: ~40 lbs

Housebroken:  YES (if you do your part letting her out regularly)

Crate trained:  YES

Personality:  busy, wary of new people, playful

Energy level:  very energetic, very puppy-like

Fenced yard required?:   YES

Does he/she jump fences?  NO (but she could if she wanted to)

Leash walk:  YES … high energy so will still pull

Obedience training:  Knows ‘sit’

Riding in vehicles:  RIDES OK … gets a little stressed at first         

Spayed/neutered:   YES

Up-to-date on routine vaccinations:   YES

Microchipped:  NO but a chip will be provided

Social with other dogs:  YES but she is selective about her friends and not all other dogs are tolerant of her unfiltered energy

Social with cats: NO CATS … she plays far too rough

Good with children:  Her energy may be overwhelming for small children.  Will be better with children 12 years old and up

Adoption donation: $175

Mango was a stray who ‘picked’ a family in August. All the people in the family loved her, but Mango’s puppy energy and exuberance proved to be too much for their older dogs.  Mango needs to have a new family with people who have time to spend with her, who are willing to get training for her, who are willing to make sure she gets plenty of exercise … who are willing to love her and work with her to become the best dog she can be.

We are an all-volunteer group, so please be patient and understand that it takes an average of 7-14 days to process the applications including reference checks, follow-up questions and home visits.  You can expedite the process by providing accurate email addresses for all your references.  Time to make phone calls is limited and we often have multiple applications in process.  We make every effort to move through them as quickly as possible.

When your application is approved, we will schedule a meet-and-greet to see if Mango picks you too.

If it seems that the adoption will be a good match for all, there is an adoption fee, and an adoption contract to be signed.
