Chewyâ??s Hope Rescue is a Non-Profit Organization, with 501(c)(3) status, that is concentrated on saving the lives of adoptable Texas shelter dogs, specifically Wise County Shelter dogs. Our goal is to save death row dogs of all sizes and all breeds by placing them into loving, forever homes in the state of Texas and to work with other Rescue Organizations nationwide to accomplish our goals. We are an all-volunteer, foster home based, nonprofit dog rescue organization based in Boyd, TX. We do not have a physical shelter. Instead, we operate primarily through our foster homes, online databases and at adoption events/expos. These dogs are at the shelter, who have no voice, have been abandoned, lost, neglected, discarded or abused and many of them have medical issues, that if treated would make them highly adoptable. With limited resources, most Texas shelters have no way out for their dogs but RESCUE. These dogs are victims of euthanasia simply because there is no room for them and they are without family, love or representation and we aim to save as many as we can. We want to feel that we played a very small part of doing something good in this world. If we can make just a small difference one dog at a time, it can add up to a big difference over time. If one dog is saved, then we changed at least one life for the better. We also serve our community and adopters by educating and encouraging responsible pet ownership with an emphasis on the need for spaying and neutering.
