Red Desert Humane Society is a private non profit 501c3 adoption shelter, we take in adoptable dogs and cats from Animal Controls and owner surrenders, get them current on vaccines and spay or neuter those that are not, find the proper forever home and family. Our mission is to provide a safe and healthy environment for homeless animal while facilitating adoption into caring homes and community education on the importance of alteration, vaccination and proper pet care. Our vision is: To provide a safe haven for adoptable animals. To eliminate unwarranted euthanization of adoptable animals. To ensure proper placement of animals into forever homes. To grow and be seen as a positive influence in Southwest Wyoming. To establish a consistent and involved membership. We do this until they all have a home.
