RCCR is a volunteer run rescue, started in 2015 by 4 ladies who saw a need to be the voice for the feline community in our county. One of our many passions is to encourage community awareness and understanding of neglected and unwanted community cats through proven practices such as TNR and trapping young kittens in order to socialize them so they become beloved family members. Our goal is to encourage positive relationships between people and animals, whether they are pets or community animals. Community education is essential for implementation of non-lethal ways of dealing with community cats. Our primary focus has been TNR but over time has expanded to help any cat in need whether it be feral, stray or abandoned, injured, sick or needing a new home. We also help pet owners who may have found themselves in a situation where they can no longer afford to care for their beloved pet, instead of relinquishing their cat, we try to help them to be able to keep their pet and ensure any veterinary needs are met. We try to help the voiceless animals who did not ask to be tossed out but simply want love.
