1000 Acre off-leash dog park. If in Portland, don't miss 1000 Acre Park. It's really in Troutdale, but worth the drive. 1000 acres at the delta of the Sandy and Columbia Rivers. Restrooms, gravel paths, unpaved paths, trails, wide open spaces, grassy lands, trees, the river banks - wonderful freedom for your dog. Location: 1000 Acre Park. Directions: Take I-5 to 84 east. Exit at Lewis and Clark State Park. Turn RIGHT under freeway overpass, and circle back around toward freeway again. Entrance to large park in on the left. Plenty of parking. Plenty of people and dogs. Very tranquil.
