Agreeing on your new dog

Written by:
Be sure your entire household is on the same page before going out and looking for a dog. Does everyone agree on the Great Dane, or is there someone who wants a Chihuahua? Have a talk with each of your family members about their expectations, desires, and concerns. Who is going to take care of the dog? Is there a particular type of dog that individuals want? And does everyone want a dog? You can ask every family member to come up with a list of their hopes and concerns, and they can share it with the rest of the family. Taking care of everyone's concerns and making sure that everyone is in agreement will eliminate unnecessary frustration when the new dog arrives home.
