- What is Genesis Topical Spray used for?
Triamcinolone Acetonide is a topical corticosteroid used by veterinarians for the control of pruritis associated with allergic dermatitis in dogs.
- How Genesis Topical Spray should be used?
Triamcinolone Acetonide topical spray is FDA approved for use in veterinary medicine on dogs. Apply sufficient pump sprays to uniformly and thoroughly wet the affected areas while avoiding run-off of excess product. This product should be administered twice daily for seven days, once daily for the next seven days, then every other day for an additional 14 days (28 days total).
- What are the side effects?
Side effects when using this medication can include increased urination and hunger, discomfort, sneezing, watery eyes.
- What special precautions are there?
Wear gloves when applying this product. Spray in a well ventilated area. Do not use this product on dogs less than 8 lbs or for dogs less than one year of age. Do not get in dog’s eyes. Use with caution in breeding, pregnant or lactating dogs. If signs of adverse side effects are observed, treatment should be discontinued. Once the signs of have disappeared, treatment can be resumed at a lower dose or frequency of application.

Store at room temperature. Throw away any medication that is outdated or no longer needed. Keep out of the reach of children and pets.
