Baxter is a bigger boy, so he will need a strong adopter that can handle him. He's got a good amount of energy, so he'd be a great running/hiking companion. As an energetic boy, he'd do best in an active home. Baxter is great with all people, but unfortunately not fond of other dogs, so he'll need to be the only dog in the home.
He walks well on a leash and becomes very mellow very quickly.
Baxter is timid initially, but sweet and LOVES human interaction when he's had a few minutes to get used to you. He's very inquisitive, affectionate, and loves to explore.
