Dixon is a vibrant and affectionate 3-year-old who is already potty-trained, crate-trained and well-mannered at mealtime. He's also THE BEST CUDDLE BUG EVER! Dixon adores every person he meets, including kids, but he is not good with other dogs and needs to be an only pet.

Adoption fees range between $50 and $150, depending on the age and size of the dog. Spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, flea treatment, dewormer, and microchip are all included.

Prospective adopters must agree to a home visit, have secure fencing and allow their dog to sleep inside at night. Those coming from out of town may submit a vet reference in place of a home visit. All renters need landlord approval.

If you already have a dog or two, they must be spayed/neutered and brought to the shelter for a meet and greet. Homes that already have more than two dogs, or any unaltered dogs, will not be considered.

Exceptions to these rules may be made in special circumstances.
