Adopt a Maltese / Mixed (long coat)

Maltese / Mixed (long coat) Dog

Lexi the Dog needs a home

Lexi is very sweet with people. Small children make her nervous. She would be fine around older children that don't scare her. At her age she's a hard of hearing, so a fenced yard is critical to  keep her from wandering off when she goes outside to do her business. I have tried a leash with her, she's never been on one. She's a talker when excited or letting you know it's time to go outside. Being around other animals is ok with her as long as they don't become aggressive towards her. She has been crated a majority of her life it seems & will only eat in her crate. She is ok to roam the house, just needs her safe spot during meal times. She likes her Pedigree small dog kibble & canned food, just don't mix them. She likes them separately. She's good going down the stairs but needs a little help getting up them.

Lexi was left in my neighbors yard with a note asking we help her as her humans had no money to take care of her.  She had some bad teeth that were causing her problems. That has been taken care of. She is in very good physical health. She's looking for her humans to share her Golden Years with ...
