Adopt a German Shepherd Dog / Mastiff / Mixed (short coat)

Kassidy is a very sweet and loving 2 year old Mastiff/Shep Mix. She loves to play and would make a great running companion. She is crate trained and potty trained. She knows how to sit, lay down, roll over and shake. She is extremely smart! She also walks well on a leash and loves car rides. Kassidy is one of six, her siblings include Kimber, Kennedy, Keegan, Kendall, and Kyler. These puppies will not be adopted out of state. Fenced in yard required! These puppies were rescued from a backyard breeder. There were fourteen born, five of them passed, she gave three of them away in the Walmart parking lot. One of our volunteers heard about this awful situation and immediately went to get the rest of the puppies. Upon arriving the 6 puppies were in a crate filled with their own feces and emaciated. The women said that they weren't getting homes so her plan was to starve them. Thankfully she surrendered them to Street Paws and they are now in a foster home and thriving! It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet. We try to limit our adoptions to the metro Atlanta area. We are not opposed to out of state adoptions but require adopters to travel to Georgia to meet the pet if pre-approved. We require a home visit scheduled by us with a reputable rescue in the area you live. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Our adoption fee is $250 for all of our dogs. They have been given age-appropriate vaccinations, are spayed/neutered, dewormed, had Capstar and/or Frontline applied, heartworm tested and treated if necessary, and micro-chipped (required registration is an additional fee of $10.99)
