Jericho is a brindle, 7 year old, American Stafford-shire Terrier. His goofy, friendly disposition is probably his one of his key attributes. He enjoys meeting new people and dogs. Although he hasn't lived with children within the past 5 years, he tends to be very docile whenever he encounters them in the park or on a walk. He also hasn't been heavily associated with cats per-say but once again he has never shown any signs of aggression in anyway. Outside of that, he is caught up on all of his shots and was recently neutered. He is getting to be elderly and I would prefer to find a home that could tend to his medical needs as they arise. Most of all I would like to find a home that will nurture the caring, supportive environment that he deserves
His Story
Jericho has been my trusty companion for the better half of 5 years ever since I rescued him as a stray. Unfortunately, due to financial and housing instability I would like to find him a caring and supportive home. He enjoys meeting new dogs and people, hiking, tug of war, belly rubs in the morning, co-piloting and being a couch potato. He wholeheartedly welcomes any and all attention and affection, and rarely ever barks. Absolutely non-aggressive even when confronted with another animals aggression, and listens to command especially with treat enforcement.
Since having Jericho, he has visited the vet as much as my finances have allowed and is up to date on his vaccinations and has recently been neutered.
