This dog is being fostered in Bend, Oregon.  If you are interested in meeting this dog, you must be willing to travel to Bend for the meeting.

All dogs with PUP are in private foster homes so we can provide our potential adopters the most current information available.



Health: Poppy has been spayed and microchipped. She is current on her DHPP, Bordetella, and Rabies. She has been wormed and flea treated, and tested negative for heartworm.

History: Poppy comes from an overcrowded shelter in California. PUP was asked to help and we are so glad we did. All dogs PUP pulls from California come with health certificates, as required by Washington state.

Notes from Poppy's Foster Home:

Poppy is very quiet and well behaved, cautious and slightly timid. She loves to receive affection, belly rubs and back scratches. She has a fairly low energy level, quite content to lay on the couch most of the time. She will need continued training on the leash, but has done well on our first couple of walks. We’re working on “sit” command. Doing well with house training when let out at regular intervals. She gets along well with our small, energetic dog and all of the humans she’s met so far. She’d be well suited to a quiet household where she can be the center of attention. She sleeps in her crate all night, not a peep! If you have time to train her with love and patience and help her blossom, Poppy might just be the sweet little girl you’ve been

looking for.

Note: The above description reflects the behavior we have observed in the dog's foster home. Although PUP provides adopters up to the minute information on our dogs, we cannot guarantee they will behave in the same manner in a different environment with new owners.
