Priscilla the Dog needs a home
Sasha can be shy, but only for a moment. She quickly warms up to strangers, especially if they put her in their lap where she can curl up and feel safe. She listens attentively, tilting her head from side to side as you talk. And she lets you know she'd like you to hold her by putting her tiny paws on your leg. Her big, bright eyes give a hint to the smart, confident dog she is. While she gets along well with other dogs of all sizes, she'll let big dogs know when they're making her uncomfortable. Sasha loves to go on walks, especially if you carry her most of the way and then give her time to get out and explore, and she's great riding in the car.
Priscilla is the more bashful of the two, often looking to Sasha for guidance on how to behave. If Sasha warms up to another dog or person, Priscilla is sure to follow - she truly looks up to her big sister. Priscilla is great on the leash and loves to discover new things as you go on walks. She communicates via cute little grunts and sighs, and she's a bit of a quiet snorer at night. Priscilla loves a good belly rub or to be gently pet - she's not as much of a lap dweller as her sister. As long as you provide some reassurance, she's a good passenger in the car.
Both girls are housetrained and mellow, resting quietly while you work or watch TV. They also behave when left home alone. Basically, they're happy as long as they have each other, a warm, safe place to sleep, and a person or two (or many) who loves them. They came to POMDR when their guardians moved into housing that didn't allow pets. We're happy to be able to keep them together.
