Hi there my name is Noel. I was picked up as a stray by animal control and I was never claimed. I'm a typical hound and follow my nose. That may have been what got me in trouble in the 1st place. I am a super sweet dog but have clearly not had great interactions with humans. I am very submissive and listen well to correction. I can definitely be a house dog, and wouldn't recommend ever trying to make me a hunting dog.
Here's one good thing about me, I'm not a huge barker. I do sometimes bark, like when I want your attention, but I'm easily settled. I get along with most dogs as long as they are nice to me. I'm not overly aggressive with cats, but my foster has noticed that ones that look like raccoons are fair game. I absolutely love kids and would love to have some of my own.
I seem to ride well in the car, and I am also crate trained for the most part. I will need a fully fenced yard with a 6' fence so that my nose doesn't continue to get me in trouble. If you are looking for a sweet cuddly hound dog, I'm your girl.
