Peanut Texas the Dog needs a home
Meet Peanut! Like his name, he is a little brown peanut of a dog. He's very cute and his foster reports that he's a happy little guy. We think he's a "Chiweenie" which is cross between a Chihuahua and a Dachshund because he has the face of a Chi, but the long body of a Dachshund.
Peanut is what we call a "Velcro dog" - he wants to be with you 24/7 and foster mom says he follows her wherever she goes. He would be happiest in a home where he wasn't left alone much during the day since he just loves his people so much. And he loves to sleep in bed with them at night - he's a little guy so he's not a "bed hog", surely you have space for him in your bed?
Peanut gets along well with small dogs but big ones make him nervous - if you weighed only 9 pounds, you might feel the same way! :) His foster mom tells us that he really is a happy little guy and his tail pretty much never stops wagging everywhere he goes. He'll make a great companion and snuggle buddy for someone looking for lots of love in a small package!
