What a great-looking boy! Zach is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix ready to face the world with his great, big smile and would like you to be his new mom or dad! Expect many smiles and laughs when you spend time with this gentle boy. Zach loves to play, but he would be just as happy forgetting how big he is and sitting in your lap. Zach loves his doggy companions and would excel greatly in a home with at least one other dog (but it is not required as long as you continue to socialize him!). Unfortunately, he thinks cats are better for chasing than playing with, so he would do best in a home without feline friends.  

Zach does not realize that he weighs 50 lbs. He loves to lounge on people's laps and would be happiest if he could sleep on top of you. When his foster mom works from home, he likes to sleep happily beside her or chew on his favorite bone under her desk. He is more laid back than most staffy mixes, but he does love a game of tug-o-war every so often! He is also a strong-willed dog and would excel greatly in a home that sets boundaries and limits. An experienced owner would bring out the best qualities in Zach! 

Sometimes, we in the rescue community, forget the goodness in humanity when dealing with neglected dogs. Today Lucky Dog was reminded by the Ignyte Group (www.ignytegroup.co) that there are amazing people and companies still in the world. Thanks to Ignyte Group, Zach is now enrolled in training and is working to get his canine good citizen (CGC) certification! AdAdditionally, who ever adopts this special boy will have private training lessons already set up and paid for! It's apparent how much Zach is loved and any adopter willing to give Zachy a chance will be equally rewarded with donated training classes and a wonderful, special dog.
