Cubby the Dog needs a home
Cubby and Chip are brothers, a little over a year old, about 8 lbs.. Cubby has floppy ears and longer legs. Chip's ears stand up. Until they entered rescue in December, life had not been good to them.
They and two of their siblings were tossed out of a car in a West Knoxville neighborhood. The car sped away with them running after it. It was very cold outside, but, fortunately for three of the four, someone saw it happen. They were very scared and ran from everyone trying to help them. All but one were caught. We do not know what happened to it. A neighbor kept one. We got Cubby and Chip.
They have since been vetted, learned what it is like to be safe and happy, and are now ready for their forever family. They are almost housetrained, not leash trained, and will not let you pick them up unless you corner them in a small room.
They are cute and playful and want so badly to be cuddled. They will touch your fingers or nudge you in the leg. When you do pick them up, they love it. They get excited when you get up and when you come home. They do everything together and need to stay together. They need a loving family to take them to the next level of socialization. These are the cutest and sweetest little guys you will ever meet. If you have room in your heart and a little patience, these guys will be your best doggies ever.
