Melody the Rabbit needs a home
In June 2017, MHRR took in a mom, dad, and litter of 5 approx 2 wk old baby buns from Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter. We named them Melody (mom), Mambo (dad), and babies Lyric, Cadence, Rhapsody, Symphony, and Harmony.
Mom was a bit feisty at first, but has warmed up quite a bit. She looooves treats, and begs for them when she hears the treat jar! She uses the litterbox well. She does fine around gentle dogs.
This pet is fostered in New Orleans, LA.
All MHRR rabbits are spayed or neutered and are now microchipped (previously tattoed with "MHR" in the ear). Adoption fees are $50 for single bunnies or $80 for already-paired rabbits. Adoption days are held at Petsmart on Millerville in Baton Rouge (see our website for dates) though we can also schedule appointments outside of those days.
