Kenai the Dog needs a home

The family that lands this sweet, beautiful girl will be so lucky! Kenai has spent all of her life outdoors, in a fenced yard, with no doggie companions. Because of this, she is relatively shy to new dogs, but we believe with some time and additional socialization, she will come to appreciate doggie friends. She is currently spending time with a trainer and other dogs, getting used to life in doors (and with new friends!). 



Kenai is very gentle and sweet and has a wonderful disposition. She loves 'her people' and is very protective of them. She would do best in a home with a family that's around and able to spend time with her. We're not sure how she'd do with young kiddos, but think she'd prefer those that are a bit older.



Kenai is currently hanging out in Missoula, MT, and would love to meet interested families!
