ELISE the Dog needs a home

COURTESY POSTING: Elise is an alum of our Shelter Support Program, but not currently at the shelter. Please contact [email protected] for more information on adopting Elise.

Pet Information

Elise is a delightful 9-year-old black (with plenty of silver frosting!) female Pit Bull and Boxer mix who was found adopted from a high-intake shelter and then abandoned just a few weeks later when her adopter decided to move out of state and leave her behind. Weighing 58 lbs, Elise is a social butterfly: she wants nothing more than to be with people and other dogs. She loves to walk and is polite and cooperative on leash. She is living in a foster home with multiple large dogs and gets along great with everyone. She is housetrained and extremely well-mannered (her foster dad is a professional dog trainer!). Elise's idea of a good day includes a short stroll around the neighborhood, some sunbathing, some cuddling, and plenty of just be near her people and her pack. We can’t imagine an all-around nicer dog, and we hope a compassionate adopter or rescue gives her the attention and love she deserves in her golden years. Elise has lots of love left to give, and will reward you generously with her devotion and humor.

The video attached is from when Elise was still in the shelter.

Elise is microchipped and current on vaccines.
