Lucky Lou the Dog needs a home
“Now I wait for a break in the silence ’cause it’s all that you left. Just me and these four walls again.” On my own. Hit by a car. Multiple broken bones and fractures and an internal injury too. You might think that it’s just too tall of an order. But SRT, like they always do, came to save the day! I’ve had my surgery and though I’m still recovering, I can now begin looking for a forever home. I’m Lucky Lou – and I am lucky! I’m a male, black Schnauzer mix with natural ears and a natural tail. I’m just one year old and I weigh about nine pounds. I have a wonderful, loving temperament and I’m really good at giving kisses! I love kids and I have experience. They get kisses too! I’m good with other dogs and I’m partial to small dogs or those just slightly bigger than me. I don’t do as well around big dogs. I bark at them like I’m the one in charge! I sleep in my crate all night! Unfortunately, I’m not house trained and it’s possible, due to my injuries, the surgery and potential damage to some nerve endings, that I might never be. I’m OK with a belly band and I sleep on a pad in my crate. I have such a sweet personality and I’m such a good boy. I just need that one home where my one issue isn’t a deal breaker. Maybe it’s you!
