Hi there! My name is Bowie!!

I am a fun loving guy that is searching
for my forever family. I am about a year and a half old terrier mix
weighing in at a small 30 pounds.  I will go to the door to let you know when I need to go potty. I love people but can be pretty selective about my other dog friends.  I haven't really been around cats, but I
have a feeling I would probably want to chase them. I like kids,
although they need to be 10 years or older because I can be a little
rambunctious sometimes. I am working on my manners and am doing great!
My foster mom says I have grown by leaps and bounds in that
department. She says I am really smart.  I just needed someone to show
me the ropes. I can get a little overly excited when meeting and
playing with my doggie friends. It’s best to take it really slow when introducing me to new doggies. I am best suited for a home without other dogs and with adults only. 


    However, I am eager to please and will look
   to you for direction and do as you say. One of my favorite things in the whole world are squeaky tennis balls! I love it when I get to play fetch. I sleep in a crate at night, but I have been known to escape when I amnot in the same room with you. I just want to be as near you as I possibly can. Who can blame me for that? If you want lots of entertainment, fun, and love, then I am the guy for you!

All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines---parvo, distemper, bordatella, and rabies, All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative.  In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. Most dogs come with a micr-chip already implanted. Adoption fees range from 235.00- 275.00 depending on the dog. Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog.   In addition, some of our dogs are fostered in the South and come up once adopted---There is an additional transport fee for these dogs.  Please contact the person listed in the bio for more information on a particular dog. We are very careful in placing our dogs--and look for the best home for each dog--All of our dogs are fostered in private homes, with fosters who get to know the dogs and know the types of home that would be best for each dog.
