Tyke is 10 years old and was surrendered to the clinic because the elderly gentleman he lived with was not able to manage his diabetes.  He eats Purina prescription DM food, both dry and canned, and his diabetes is managed by a glipizide tablet twice daily rather than daily injections.  He is easy to pill.  He has huge, owlish eyes and follows like a dog.  He would make a very good companion for someone who wants to interact with their cat a lot.  He loves his big catnip fish and is very entertaining to watch as he plays with it.



Tyke is neutered, FeLV/FIV/heartworm negative, fully vaccinated for feline upper respiratory viruses, FeLV and rabies, is dewormed and is on flea prevention.  You can meet Tyke at The Animal Care Center at Granville, 740.587.2229 or [email protected]. Give this middle aged boy a chance.
