Dexter the Dog needs a home

Hi, my name is Dexter and I am looking for my new family. I survived Hurricane Harvey and while I do love the attention the rescue volunteers give me, I want nothing more than a family of my own. When I first came to DFW Rescue Me, I was anxious and scared. But now, I am growing into my personality! I love playing chase  and fetch, the occasional rawhide bone, and don't even get me started on belly rubs and long car rides! I get along great with other dogs and would love to have a companion to keep me company during the day. I don't require much- just a place to snooze and someone to love me! Do I look like your new companion?!


The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip.
