If there is another dog in the household, Kent needs a more submissive dog who’s uninterested in toys since he’s still working on guarding and with new dogs it takes Kent time to warm up to them just like any human.

Kent is a sweet boy who loves to play. He
 is a very happy dog with lots of energy.  If Kent could be outside playing fetch and going on hikes all the time he would it's some of his favorite things in the world.
  He he also enjoys cuddling, head scratches, playing tug of war, and chewing on a bone. 

He is house-broken.
 He knows how to sit, shake, lay down, wait, leave it, and is still learning more.   He is intelligent and a very fast learner. 

Kent finds cats very intriguing and will chase. We have a hard time redirecting him when he sees a cat and think he would do better in a house without cats. Kent does good with most dogs with time, but does need time to warm up to them, and at first Kent isn't very good at sharing with a new dog, for instance toys, his bed, or his food/water bowls.



Kent also has a hard time trusting new people. He gets fearful with fast movements and new people, and it takes him time to feel like he can trust that person.  
He will need a family willing to be mindful of this with him, to work with him on it, and to keep him in situations that he will feel safe and will do best without young kids since he does need people to be respectful of his space initially.
  

Kent is kennel trained and very rarely whines or barks when he is kenneled.  He also does a great job with only chewing or playing with dog toys.

He still pulls when we walk him on a leash, however is learning to walk beside you. 

Kent is a very loyal dog. He's made so many improvements and shows his enthusiasm in wanting to learn. Kent needs a family that will love him and help him become less fearful.
