Adopt a Anatolian Shepherd / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat)
JAZZY the Dog needs a home
My name is Jazzy, I am female (spayed), have no health issues and I was born in January 2010. I have spent most of my 5 years living in the shelter and although Louise and the shelter staff tell me I am a beautiful girl and I deserve a loving home I am starting to think that no one will ever love me enough to give me a forever home.
I did spend a year in a foster home in Kabul with my sister Chica with a lovely American family but all too soon they had to leave Afghanistan and they could not take us with them as the new country they were going to was very difficult to get to and they were going to be living in an apartment. So, I came back to the shelter along with my sister Chica who went on to be adopted by a lovely family in the UK. Saying goodbye was so hard but I am so happy Chica found a loving family and hope that one day my family will come.
I am a nice girl but I am a little nervous at times. I am good with other dogs and although I am a little wary of cats I could live with a cat if I was carefully and slowly introduced. I would really prefer to live in a quiet home with no children under the age of 13.
All I want from life is a family to call my own, a family that will always be there for me, a family that I can love and protect, I have been such a good girl for 5 years and I do worry that people think I am just not beautiful or special enough to open their hearts and their homes to.
