Adopt a Yellow Labrador Retriever / Anatolian Shepherd / Mixed (medium coat)
JACK the Dog needs a home
My name is Jack. I was rescued by an Afghan man and the nowzad shelter in 2011 when we had been buried alive by a not very nice person.
My mom and siblings went on to find homes with loving families in Kabul and America and I am the last one of the litter remaining.
I am quite a boisterous dog despite being an adult and I will need some training. I do jump up a lot because I get so excited when I have visitors. I am good with other dogs if introduced carefully. I need a very active family who will have the time for long walks and lots of play.
Although it is not confirmed I did show symptoms of cutaneous leishmaniasis on my nose in 2013 but I was treated with Allopurinol for a period of 3 months and the lesions on my nose went away and I have not required any further treatment. I have been free of symptoms for 2 years now but there is a chance that I might get symptoms again but the condition is easily treated.
I have no other known health issues, I am neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
