Barbie lived in a shelter for 3 years before coming to Ruff Start. She is now living in a foster home and doing very well. Barbie is a sweet, lovable gal that LOVES all people. She likes to snuggle, go for walks and get her belly rubbed. She is potty trained and crate trained. She knows how to sit and lay down on command and is doing well at learning to walk nicely on a leash. She needs slow introductions to other dogs and cats and is still learning to get along with them. She is not high energy and, although she loves walks, is perfectly happy to curl up on a blanket as long as she is near her people. Barbie does have some arthritis that makes her sore and lame at times, she should receive a joint supplement for life as recommended by our veterinarian. Barbie adores everyone she meets and can't wait to meet her forever family and show them the love she has to give!
