Tulip the Dog needs a home

Hi! My name is Tulip and I'm a happy, friendly girl.  I didn't have a very good start to my life though and was not taken care of very well.  That made me a little fearful of people.  It was my lucky day when someone from the dog warden's picked me up and took me to their shelter.  I was very thin and had spots where my hair was missing.  They took me to the vet and got me medicine to help my skin get better and to get rid of those darn fleas and ticks that were eating me up!  They also gave me good food everyday!  I look and feel so much better now.  I have learned that most people are nice and once I get to know you, I'm a very loving lap dog who wants to be by your side.  I am housebroken and get along with other dogs and am ready to give all my love to a family of my own!
