Stanley the Cat needs a home
Stanley appeared out of no where in a colony of cats locally. After hanging around for about 6 weeks the weather turned cold and he started trying to come in the houses nearby when a door was opened. He knew he wasn't meant to be outside.
One of our volunteers was visiting a friend and upon walking up the drive, encountered Stanley who immediately started rubbing up against her legs. Stanley didn't know it but, his wish was on the way to coming true. A quick couple of pictures taken and messages later we began a plan to get Stanley off the streets.
Stanley is estimated between 2-3 years old and is already neutered. He at some point had a bad bought of fleas that caused some hair loss but, the fur is growing back in nicely. He will definitely need his new owner to be diligent about flea treatment to be sure that he doesn't suffer from allergy dermatitis and hair loss again.
He is a loving cat. He has no desire to go back out into the cold. He will let you pick him up but, prefers to crawl onto your lap himself and curl up for a nap. Stanley loves it when you talk to him and will saunter on over for some affection.
