Toby D4003 the Dog needs a home
Toby is an adorable, loving hound mix that weighs about 25 pounds. He was shy at first but is getting his spark back after a tough time following the storms in Puerto Rico. He is a very loving little guy that is happy to play with the other dogs and cats in his foster home.
Toby still gets nervous around new people but he warms up quickly.
He is so eager to learn. He is currently working on basic commands in English. He seems to know some of the basics but he likely knows them better in Spanish, as he came from Puerto Rico. He greets his foster mom very excitedly each day when she gets home from work. He probably would do best in a home that has older kids, as when he gets really excited he likes to jump up on you. He is such a sweet little boy.
Toby loves attention. He loves snuggles and belly rubs. He is a pretty active guy with the dogs outside. When he’s inside, he just likes to be near his people and chill out.
Toby spends weekdays in his kennel for about 8 hours and he’s a pretty good sport about it. He clearly prefers to sleep with his foster family and be around other animals and people.
It’s been a joy to have Toby in foster care and he will make a wonderful pet for any family he joins.
