RESCUING BOBBIE
Bobbie Bouchee is a very sweet and loving adult American Pit Bull Terrier. He was rescued from the largest dog fighting raid in US History in July of 2009. The dogs seized were dubbed the "Missouri 500." In November of 2009, after his owner plead guilty he was released to rescue and has been looking for his forever home ever since.
ABOUT BOBBIE
Bobbie's past has left him with an anxious energy. Because of this, he does not do well being crated. He can be destructive if left alone unattended so the crate is actually a necessity. He has an extra strength crate that will go with him to his new home. Bobbie would do best with someone that either works from home or with an owner that is willing to take him with them as being around people makes him feel better. He is currently in foster care with other dogs as well as cats. Bobbies is good with most other dogs, but some dogs read him the wrong way ... his anxious energy and nervous smile can make them feel threatened.
Bobbie has survived being fought, beaten and starved. He wants and deserves a home where he will never have to experience those things again. Bobbie love love loves people, though he may be too intense for a home with small children. Because of his past he has a nervous smile that is unsettling to some, but others think it is adorable. If you’re looking for a dog that will win best smile contests, then Bobbie is your boy.
