Adopt a Shar Pei / Mixed (short coat)

The humans said my problem could have been nipped in the bud, if I had been on heartworm prevention………but I have to ask, why would you want to nip your bud, doesn’t bud mean friend in human speak, it wouldn’t be nice to nip a bud. Maybe they meant butt, nip it in the butt, but that would be just as bad.  My heartworms are history now, thanks to God’s Dogs Rescue giving me the medicines.  Speaking of buds, that also means flowers and I am named after the Lily flower. Just like flowers, dogs have to be cared for and coddled to look their best and that wasn’t always the case for me.  I came from a southern shelter and obvious to the human eye, my life prior to the shelter was not the knees on bees. I had a fatty tumor removed from my belly and of course the afurmentioned heartworm treatment, so now I am good as new.  I am young at 3 years old and 40 pounds, those are the Goldie Locks of age and weight, just right! Due to my coloring and slightly smoosh face, the ladies think I am mostly made of Sharpei. I am a happy happy happy (yes, three times) flower and GRRR……wait that sounds mean, so not three R’s, just one, I am GREAT with other dogs and LOVE to play.  I will make you a very happy camper if you adopt me!

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. UPON adoption this dog/pup will be transported to you in YOUR area!!

Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, micro-chipped, heart worm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heart worm preventative. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

****Please realize that breed mix and size when grown are guesstimates based on the dog/pup's characteristics and coloring, unless we have mother/father in our rescue...*****

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $200.00 for adoptions in TEXAS only. IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $400.00 for adult dogs and $450.00 for puppies.  We transport all over the country!!
