Dahlia the Cat needs a home
They say that eyes are the windows to the soul; if you gaze into mine, you'll see that within this young body lives a true old soul. I'm Dahlia, and I've already seen a lot of life for my 1.5 years! Only a few short months ago, I was discovered locked in a crate behind a convenience store. And despite being practically a kitten myself - I had a whole litter of babies to take care of! We were so lucky that we were rescued, and now that my kittens are off on their own - it's time for me to find the perfect human to call my own.
What makes me purr more than anything else? People! And tuna fish. Actually, I love all kinds of food - and I'm sure we already have that in common. I know how to earn my keep around a house - rubbing up against your legs, purring constantly and leaning into scratches whenever you're near. My foster human calls me a "SWEETHEART" - all caps! I can be a bit shy at first - can you blame me? - but I'm promise you I'm worth the effort. I'm wise beyond my years, and I hope you're the human that can help make me feel like a kitten again!
If you'd like to take me home, please fill out an adoption application at this website -http://www.animalalliesrescue.org/adoption-application and choose me - Dahlia! My adoption fee is $150 and includes all of my routine vetting, rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations, FelV/FIV testing (kitties), deworming, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention, microchip, boarding and transportation costs if applicable, along with a free* trial offer for 30 days of 24PetWatch pet insurance!
