Martha the Dog needs a home

Hi Everyone!  My name is Martha and I am from South Carolina where my owner had to leave me at animal control when they went into assisted living.  I'm a cocker-lab'ish mix and very excited to be here!  I'm around 8 years old and weigh 48 pounds.



I'm housebroken and would love a backyard to hang out.  When I'm inside, my favorite item is a nice snuggly dog bed. I will plop down on a dog bed and chill out.  Check out a video of me here!  I do like other dogs so would love to go to a home with another dog.  Oh, I do have some arthritis but can manage some stairs. I've started on some daily meds to make me feel better and I already do!  Once here the doctor also confirmed that I have heart worms.  They sound very scary but I'm going to start my OBG-sponsored $1500 treatment very soon but please don't worry, I'm still available for adoption.
