Adopt a Silky Terrier / Mixed
Thor- ADOPTED with Squiggy 2/11/18! the Dog needs a home
Thor is a silky terrier mix, 5 years old and about 14 lbs. He came in from a shelter, where he had been turned in from a home. We will update as we learn more about him. So far he has been great when meeting people, and bonds quickly. His one fault we've seen so far is that he bonds too much. He became very attached to the lady that was his foster mom for a couple days. After he slept in her bed, he became territorial of it and didn't want her husband getting in!
He's been very good at the rescue. When first getting here, he wanted to sniff everything. He's gotten along really well with all the dogs, especially with our border collie mix, Queso, who is much bigger than him. They love playing together.
He loves going on walks and does well when walked with other dogs. May be house trained- He hasn't been seen having accidents in the house.
He has his shots, is neutered, and has a microchip. He would be able to go to his new home right away.
***If you would like to see him in the LA area, Thor will be at Groom Expo West, held at the Pasadena Convention Center on Sunday, Feb 18- unless he is adopted before then. Our fluffy dogs will be getting makeovers by top groomers. Please contact B&B if you would like to see a particular dog there, fluffy or shorthaired. ADOPTED 2-11-18 with poodle pal Squiggy! They will be coming with us to the grooming event. If you were interested in Thor, keep an eye on our webpage for similar dogs.
