Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (short coat) Dog

Nina the Dog needs a home

Please contact the Dog Team ([email protected]) for more information about this pet.

Nina is still searching for the one, could it be you? Nina is a 2-year-old, 50 lb range, female pit mix that has been looking for a forever home! Nina is a very affectionate and loving girl who loves to snuggle and give kisses. Nina can be left freely in the home during the day and is house trained. She knows all of her basic commands and even knows a few tricks such as "high five" and "which hand is it in".

Nina has been diagnosed with a condition where her heels pop in and out as she walks. Nina doesn't let this stop her and discomfort only arises after walks longer than an hour and half. She will require some patience and someone to understand that she has some anxieties that need to be worked on. She can get anxious and over excited in new situations or meeting new people. She is working with an animal behaviorist and her adopter should be willing to continue her training. We believe she would do best in a calm environment, with kids 16+.

Nina can be a bit bossy with other dogs, so it would be best for her to be your one and only. In addition, a fully fenced in yard is required to be considered to adopt. Nina's special someone is out there and after all she has been through and what a loving girl she is, we know her furever home is out there. If you or someone you know may be a good fit for Nina, please contact us. Nina's adoption fee has been waived and includes spay, vaccinations, and microchip.
