Adopt a Basset Hound / Mixed (short coat)

Just add bacon. Take any regular ole dog and mix them with Corgi, Bassett Hound or Weiner Dog to get a low rider version and the people love it.  It is kind of like short legs are the bacon (and that is NOT a weiner dog joke). You know what I mean, add bacon to a burger or sammich or donut and it is somehow more desireable. Add short legs to a dog and bam, the people go crazy.  I am a cute lowrider Basset Hound mixed with something a little bit taller. I have a cool personality to boot.  I am just 3 years old, and found myself at the city pound, luckily my short legs and pleading eyes did the trick, because the shelter staff asked the rescue lady if she would consider saving my waggy hiney and they did.  Now that I am safe, I enjoy playing with all the dogs, large and small, tall leggers and short leggers and inbetween leggers, I do not dogscriminate. I haven’t met any kitties yet, this is a dog rescue after all. I did test positive for heart worms, but I have started my treatment and they will all be adios soon. GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $300.00 FOR LOCAL ( Local is in the state of Texas)! Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.  IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $500.00 We transport all over the country!!
