Smokey

Smokey is a rather large boy who needs an owner with expertise in handling German Shepherds. He is a gorgeous boy, believed to be full blooded and about three years old. It is very obvious to us that he was stuck in someone's back yard and not given the time and effort to be trained properly. He has no leash manners, the only command he knows is sit, he loves to play fetch, he tends to guard his food bowl, he is particular about being touched on his head, and he doesn't seem to like men. Smokey has all of the potential in the world to be a great pet, he absolutely loves to play fetch and he loves people food. It will take someone with great knowledge in training and who has patience to help Smokey learn and overcome. He is not a dog that you can adopt and just assume he will fit right in with everyday life. No kids please. Smokey will be fully vetted and micro chipped. He has not been tested with other dogs or cats yet. MAS will be very particular in screening potential applicants. Date of Intake: 2/7/2018
