Bailey the Dog needs a home
Meet Bailey. Bailey just arrived at CHR so we don't know too much about him but here is what we do know:
1. He's super cute
2. He's 7 pounds
3. He's very sweet and does not nip at all
4. He's very quiet.
Bailey was just neutered and is current on vaccines. He was a matted mess when he came to us so we're taking our time grooming him but so far he’s cleaned up pretty well! He's just been through a stressful experience so we want to take it easy on him. His photos do not show him at his best yet—keep checking back for new ones. We want to let him relax a bit so we can get to know him better and help him find the right home.
Bailey seems okay around other dogs but he’s a little shy right now.
Bailey is housetrained. We think he will need a mid-day break to avoid accidents.
We we don’t know if he is leash trained but we will test him within the next few weeks.
We’re told Bailey likes to guard his food so we will be testing him during his stay in foster care. We want to make sure we understand all his behaviors so his new parents fully understand his needs. Please understand that Bailey is not totally adoptable just yet because we still need some time to get to know him better. Feel free to apply for him but we may put a hold on your application until we fully understand all of his needs.
