Hi, I'm Loula, they call me Lou for short, an active Labrador mix. Although my Mom loves me very much, due to unfortunate events in her life, she was no longer able to keep me. She is thankful C.A.R.L. was able to help her and she knows they will find me find a good home.
I would do best in a family as the only pet in the home. I love people and cuddles and treats. I also enjoy a good back rub. Ahhh it feels so good too. Ayla has just the right touch.
I'm great with children, but no cats or small dogs please. My mom used to take me to her kindergarten class and I did great with them. My toy of preference is anything soft. I'm not a fan of fetch, balls or frisbees. I know how to sit, and I'm learning to do it with distractions. I don't have a lot of experience walking on a leash, but I'm eager to learn leash manners.
