DUNKIRK the Dog needs a home
Dunkirk is a sweet, shy and very precious dog who is two years old. His shiny black coat has snow white markings on his chest and the tip of his toes. Dunkirk has an endearing way of holding up one ear.
Dunkirk spent his early life outdoors and did not have much contact with people. Happily, he now has plenty of attention and affection from the shelter staff and volunteers who dote on him. Dunkirk has learned to walk on a leash and loves outings in the fenced area.
One of our dedicated volunteers reports that "It has been such a joy to see Dunkirk's confidence and trust grow every day. I especially love to have him sit next to me on one of the benches in the yard and pet and talk softly to him. He is so sweet and gentle. Dunkirk would probably enjoy having a canine companion."
