Adopt a Boxer (short coat)
Dorothy the Dog needs a home
Hi everyone, my name is Dorothy and I am a 5-year-old, 55-pound boxer girl. I was a stray dog down by Yuma and these nice folks at the rescue took me in and now I live in a foster home in the Phoenix area.
I am very sweet dog who loves to be petted and play ball. I also like a nice soft doggie bed to sleep in. I love my people and like to be around them. In my foster home I have three dogs I play with. Two of them are small and one is about my size. I get along with all the males but I am not as friendly with the other female dog cause we both want to be dominant. I am very gentle with dogs that are smaller than me.
My foster mom has 2 cats. I have never seen cats before, they scare me so I chase
and growl at them. My Foster mom now keeps her cats away from me cause shes worried.
I am house, crate and leash trained. I get along with all adults. I probably like kids too but I don’t know yet cause I have not been around them.
Dorothy has been micro-chipped, spayed and is up to date on shots. Her adoption fee of $250.00 will help with medical needs of the Rescue group. Please fill out an application at http://www.helpadogsmile.org/adopt/application if you would like to meet Dorothy. Local Phoenix Metro area adoptions only please.
